Ocean City Golf
Club
The two golf courses at the
Ocean City Golf Club
in
Berlin,
Maryland, are about 10 miles from Ocean City, across Sinepuxent Bay from
Assateague Island National Seashore. The Newport Bay course is the newer of the
two 18-hole layouts, while the Seaside course has been around since 1959.
Newport Bay Course
- par 72 - four sets of tees - 5,095 to 6,701 yards.
Seaside Course - par 72-74 - four
sets of tees - 5,236 to 6,484 yards. |
The Newport Bay
course has a more modern design - and features a more "watery"
layout as it winds through and around inlets, creeks and
marshlands. The Seaside course is of a more "traditional"
tree-lined design and offers much wider fairways that will
let the big hitters swing away on many holes.
Golf fees vary with the time of
the year and the day of the week, ranging
from $30 to $109 (Newport Bay) and from $30 to $85 (Seaside).
Walking is allowed after noon during the "high season"
and throughout the day the rest of the year. |
